A m...Hi Kharis - I'm glad this post could help! A mullen mouth bit is usually very kind (the only thing kinder, I would say, is a Nathe or Duo snaffle with the flexible rubber mouthpiece). I started my young horse in a Nathe snaffle and rode my older horse in a rubber mullen mouth that was rigid, not flexible.
